Founded in 2015, the Cloud Alchemist has branded itself as one of the most prominent Washington e-juice artisanal blends in the E-liquid industry. It has taken lead in the competition the way no other product has managed to. The main idea behind Cloud Alchemist is similar to that of an extremely high-quality brewery. While getting a Cloud Alchemist package, you will notice that is not just a product, but something elegantly designed to that speaks to its own individuality.

When Cloud Alchemist contacted me about submitting some of their juice for review, I accepted, even though at the time, I already had an incredible amount of juice waiting to be reviewed. I decided that the opportunity to discuss the flavors, so many vapers use each day was too good to put off or pass up. Upon receiving the Cloud Alchemist products, I started with their Bacchus which reviewed quite well. I would even go as far as saying that is there best e-juice

Anyone who has been around the vaping community for more than a couple of months and loves menthol flavor is probably already familiar with the Cloud Alchemist flagship menthol product, the Glacialis Menta. Surprisingly, there’s little talk in the various forums surrounding Cloud Alchemist’s line of e-liquid. After a very successful review of their Bacchus e-juice, I was eager to taste something a bit different and went with the Minty Menthol for my second review of the products in the Cloud Alchemist Premium line.

Official Flavor Note

Glacialis Menta

Frosty spearmint, cool peppermint, silky vanilla, and delicate cream blended for velvety clouds

I was expecting this to be a review for a complex mint menthol with a smooth vanilla kick, but there’s a bit more going on in this flavor profile than one might expect. Starting with an incredibly potent burst of spearmint cool that leaves your mouth cold and tingly long after the vape. There is also the expected full of minty flavor found in any menthol due to the menthol crystal extraction process. This process most commonly begins with natural peppermint plants, whereas spearmint is most often used for an icy touch. Aside from the expected components in any bottle of menthol e-liquid, there is an additional ingredient that I wasn’t quite anticipating, and due to the small quantity used in the blend, it was one I had a hard time pinning down, but once you know it’s there, it’s almost impossible to miss…just a light touch of silky vanilla presenting on the exhale and finish, rounding out the profile.

While it’s not an uncommon combination, (many vendors do a fire and ice mix) Cloud Alchemist uses the vanilla as a very light top note that emphasizes the velvety ice by adding a subtle heat. An ingenious addition that is well proportioned to the other flavors and makes for a well-balanced profile.

The overall flavor is not entirely dissimilar to that of Aquafresh toothpaste, but not in an unflattering way. Its flavor is crisp, cool, and quite refreshing with a very smooth cool aspect that, although could be a touch stronger, isn’t necessarily lacking in any regard. The mint is of the wintergreen/peppermint variety with a sweet bass note That’s similar to a breath mint, but with a bit more kick.

I preferred vaping this one at a relatively low 7 3/4 watts or 4.4v on a 2.5Ω atomizer which yielded the full breadth of minty flavor, a stout throat hit, (as one would expect from a juice of this nature) and a whole cloud of chilly vapor. At 4.7v on a 2.5Ω atomizer which yielded just under 9 watts, it produced a cool minty flavor, a good strong throat hit, and abundant clouds of thick vapor.

Finally, There is simply not an enormous amount to say about this juice, it’s simple, minty, cold, tasty and the best ejuice if you like cool, smooth menthols. Cloud Alchemist’s take is very, very good and worth a try.
